Hi Everyone!

I’m Danniella, the founder and owner of Danniella Bell - Remedial Massage.

I was born in West Auckland but grew up in a small town in South Auckland called Waiuku. I was, and still am, a very active person and always had a passion for physical activity, especially dancing!

I originally wanted to study physiotherapy (even as a kid), but massage appealed to me more once I had planned to leave school. This was due to the fact that it was far more hands on which I loved. I was 16 when I left school for uni and started my business at 19!

Starting this business was a huge step for me. I studied massage (both level 5&6) for 2 years at WINTEC in Hamilton, New Zealand whilst working 4 jobs to pay for my studies outright (this was one of my main goals).

I then went on to specialise in Dry needling and Oncology massage alongside sports/ rehab specific massage therapy.

I now have owned DBRM for two years. In these two short years I have worked with elite level sports teams such as the Springboks, One NZ Warriors, Canberra Raiders, Cronulla Sharks, Wellington Phoenix and many more. This was a huge step in my career and I have loved having the opportunity to work in this incredible industry!

As of recent I have just brought my first home with my amazing partner Ash in 2024 and have hired my three beautiful staff members Janelle, Addie and Wil!
